Debbie has worked and volunteered at the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center, and knows first hand the struggles teens face in this current society/culture.   “My desire is to impart to every young person the Truth in relation to purity.” (Debbie Ertel)  It was out of this desire a Purity Seminar was birthed.  The Lord has burdened her heart to get the message out.  Debbie has been able to share this message with teens here locally in Virginia, North Carolina, New Jersey, and overseas.

She has spoken at Lynchburg Christian Academy to see 120 out of 140 teens make a Pledge for Purity.   Debbie does not just give a message on abstinence.  It is much more than that.  She grabs the interest of teens through her personal testimony, the use of Power Points, illustrations, and music videos/drama.  She believes it is important to teach and reach young people using different learning styles.  She discusses many topics that are important to today’s youth. Her motivation is to inform and equip youth to make wise decisions in relationships, so they can have the most fulfilling life without regrets.  She passionately desires young people to live pure for God and become all that He desires them to be.
