Debbie Ertel

Meet the Founder

Debbie grew up in NJ.  She and her husband ministered for eight years in and out of Russia as missionaries.  Upon returning from the field they settled in Virginia.  They are actively involved in several local church ministries, including outreach.  In addition, Debbie enjoys teaching and ministering to youth and women through the Word of God. Her heart and passion is to see this generation live a pure life before the Lord.

“The Lord has taken a life marked by impurity, and by grace has transformed it into something beautiful.  Both of our children have been raised with the understanding of purity, but when my son became a teen, I realized just how important it was to get this message out.  I started praying and asking the Lord how my life can make a difference in this area.  In writing out this part of my testimony, I came across an important message in regards to purity.  I then shared it with our Youth Pastor.  Shortly after that, I spoke to our young women in a seminar encouraging them to live the transformed life of purity.

The passion grew and it led me to the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center.   I simply wanted to be available to reach young women with the purity message.  The Lord immediately opened up an opportunity, and I spoke with 8th - 10th graders at a large Christian school for a week.  It was incredible, and I saw the Lord touch and change lives.  This was not because of me, but because of God's Word!  The Lord continued to open opportunities and Living Pure Ministries came into being.

Does God need another ministry, another speaker or even another book on purity?  Probably not!  But the passion of this ministry is to see this generation know Jesus, to Love Him with all their hearts, souls, and minds, and to understand that true purity comes from the inside out.  It is living pure in heart, mind, body and soul.

This message is not for women only. Living Pure Ministries also has men who are committed to reaching our youth with Biblical teachings on purity.  These Christian leaders desire to lead by example and to see young men grow in God and make a difference for Christ.

The purity message is vital!  Our youth is daily bombarded with the lies of the enemy.  We cannot be silent!  We will continue to reach out as long as the Lord continues to open up opportunities.”

By God's Grace, For His Glory!
